Sounds of Science is een samenwerkingsproject tussen twee duitse jazz-muzikanten en een nederlandse filmmaker. Heribert Leuchter en Christoph Titz gebruikten laboratorium- en industriële geluiden als basis van hun jazzimprovisaties. Tijdens de live performance wordt het optreden versterkt door moving visuals, geproduceerd door filmmaker Roger van de Poel. De stichting Pro2 entameerde de samenwerking en maakte de productie financieel mede mogelijk.

Sounds of Science is a Jazz Project of Heribert Leuchter (Saxophone) and Christoph Titz (Trumpet). Their live performance, with tracks recorded from scientific instruments and noises created by machines, is supported by visuals which create the feel and intention of the environment of that same laboratory. The visuals are created by Roger van de Poel and projected on a big cinema screen during the concert. Sounds of Science is an international collaboration between two german jazz musicians and a dutch film maker.The collaboration is endorsed by the Pro2 Foundation, especially Jo Dautzenberg.
